Zoom North a Success

The Ottawa Date Squares hosted their first (and hopefully last) Zoom North to the Capital virtual fly-in and it was a smashing success! Check it out.
We have negotiated a special rate of $139 CAD per night between April 14 and April 17, 2022 with Courtyard Marriott Downtown Ottawa at 350 Dalhousie Street. This hotel is located in the heart of the world famous Byward Market and is very close to all amenities including public transit, shopping, museums, bars and restaurants as well as Parliament Hill.
For those wishing to arrive early or stay extra days, the hotel has told us that they are willing to extend this special rate for up to two days before or two days after the fly-in but you must call to confirm when making your booking as rooms may be limited.
Note: Hotel cancellations are 100% refund if cancelled by 11:59PM EST 2 days before scheduled arrival date.
Public Transit
Ottawa’s public transit system is called OC Transpo and to get to the host hotel from the airport, you can take the 97 bus that leaves the airport every 15 minutes. Ride this bus to Hurdman station where you will connect to the Confederation Line 1 LRT going westbound toward Tunney’s Pasture. Get off at Parliament station and it’s a very short walk into the Byward market and to the host hotel.
A one-way ride on OC Transpo will cost $3.65 and you should have exact change because drivers can’t make change and they don’t accept credit cards.
Note: Presto Pass holders (ex: from Toronto) can use their pass on our buses.
